| JD: How did you get into Financial Services?
LC: I was working in General Insurance for a company in Bristol . I then went to work for Brunsdon & Co, which is how I met and came to work with Beverley and Louise and entered the financial services industry
JD: Then what happened?
LC: I then worked for the next few years as an administrator for an IFA, gaining a good grounding in financial services and the mortgage sector. I then decided to use this experience and the knowledge I had gained and train as a mortgage advisor myself.
JD: Are you married?
LC: I am engaged to Stephen, we have five boys between us ranging from 4 to 18 years which keeps us on our toes!. Stephen works for a well known department store group and is currently managing a new concept store in Swindon, travelling up each day from our home in Bristol.
JD: Do you have any specific qualifications?
LC: Yes. I hold CeMAP 1,2 &3 qualifications in mortgage advice and practice. I plan to take both Advance CeMAP and Equity Release to continue my professional development.

JD: What areas do you want to specialise in?
LC: I am happy to deal with clients from all walks of life, but I believe that my holistic approach to mortgage advice taking an all-encompassing view coupled with a softer, feminine perspective maybe particularly helpful to both families and clients who are entering the mortgage market on their own for the first time, either as a first time buyer or following separation.
JD: What did you do before you starting working in the financial sector?
LC: I have spent most of my working career in administration and customer services, although interspersed with having 3 Boys!
JD: Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of work?
LC: I love spending time with all the boys, socialising and eating out. We have recently taken over an allotment which provides relaxation and fun for the family. I am also a Reiki Practitioner which is a great de-stresser and gives me some quality me time! And I try to keep fit when I have time!
